Bella
Undone by Rachel Caine
Rating: 4 Stars
Rachel Caine fans will be pleased with her new series. UNDONE is exciting and nerve-racking. The heroine provides an interesting new perspective.

Meghan
City of Bones (Mortal Instruments) by Cassandra Clare
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book because it has so much suspense. You never know what is going to happen, like with other books you always guess that there is going to have a happy ending, but with this one you never know. It's a book I can't put down.

Meghan
Breaking Dawn: The Twilight Saga, Book 4 by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book because it's the book out of the series that allows you to see Edward and Bella and their true love and compassion for one another. It has more affection and more romance.

Marked by P. C. and Kristin Cast
Rating: 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down!! MARKED is the first of 4 in the House of Night (HON) series. This book is about Zoey Redbird, a newly marked vampyre, who has been enrolled in the House of Night to learn to become a full -fledged vampyre. Zoey soon learns that she has been marked by the vampyre Goddess, Nyx, and has special powers. Read the book to see how Zoey handles this new found power. Highly recommended by my friends and me!

Bella
North of Beautiful by Justina Chen Headley

Justina's writing is wonderful, and the story is lovely. Highly recommended.

Bella Aire
If I Stay by Gayle Forman
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a must read. It doesn't come out until March or April of '09, but do not let that deter you. This book was painful but beautiful.

Bella Aire
The Well of Lost Plots by Jasper Fforde
Rating: 5 Stars
The third book in Fforde's Thursday Next series is just as incredible as the first two, though even more abstract. Though the books become increasingly difficult to understand, the brilliant originality and sheer imagination makes up for any flaws.

Bella
Need by Carrie Jones
Rating: 3 Stars
This was alright, but I definitely got some trying-to-be-TWILIGHT undertones. Plus, the main character was about 5 steps behind the reader the whole time. Still, not a bad read.

Bella
Deadly Little Secret by Laurie Faria Stolarz
Rating: 5 Stars
I never had a chance to read her Nightmares series, so I was really excited when I found out she was coming out with the Touch series. It did not disappoint and was a great starter novel for a series. I feel the characters will develop even more as the series goes on.

Bella Aire
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Rating: 5 Stars
I finally got to this novel, and I loved it. It's no wonder authors like Stephenie Meyer have recommended it.

Kelly
What Happened to Cass McBride? by Gail Giles
Rating: 3 Stars
It was pretty good. The author did an amazing job at making you feel like you are each of the characters. It also taught me that you can sometimes talk your way out of dangerous situations.

Britt

I really like this.

Bella
Perfect You by Elizabeth Scott and Lisa Fyfe
Rating: 4 Stars
Scott writes great realistic fiction. Will and Kate are memorable characters.

I loved it! The story was very interesting, and I also learned about the history without getting bored! This book is probably my most favorite book I've read within the last two months! I would love to read more books like this. I thank my friend very much for recommending ANNE BOLEYN by Philip W. Sergeant.

amanda tursi
The Luxe by Anna Godbersen
Rating: 4 Stars
I loved this book because it was about rebels in a time where we don't think of people really rebelling. THE LUXE is is very entertaining and a complete must-read.I can't wait for the third book!

Amanda
The Outsiders by S.H. Hinton
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was a great read. It was interesting, and kept you wanting to read more and more. The reason I loved it so much was that I can truly say THE OUTSIDERS is like nothing else I have ever read before. Reading this is like stepping into the book and experiencing what the characters experienced. Truly amazing.

Cake

The four friends are trying to work together to catch A but their lives interfere with everything.

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Rating: 4 Stars
I loved this book. It shows how little things add up and can have depressing consequences.

Catlyn
Breaking Dawn (The Twilight Saga, Book 4) by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
The final book in the Twilight Saga is breathtaking! It is amazingly written and you can't stop reading it! I read it in two days! The ending is more than you could ask for!

Rating: 5 Stars
A thrilling and nonstop action tale.

candice
Suck It Up by Brian Meehl
Rating: 4 Stars
It was very good. It does not compare to TWILIGHT and is completely different from it. Mr. Meehl gives a twist on vampires. Some parts do get dull but all in all it's a really good book.

Holly
Brisingr by Christopher Paolini
Rating: 5 Stars
BRISINGR is probably the most exciting book I have ever read.

BJ
The Dark Princess by Amanda Kostro
Rating: 5 Stars
Great story by a fourteen-year-old author.

Alyssa
13 by James Howe
Rating: 4 Stars
This is a collection of short stories about kids at the age of thirteen. It captures a lot of the angles of the difficult age, using humor and things kids can relate to. But it's not just for thirteen-year-olds --- almost anyone can relate and learn to it.

Steph
The Host by Stephenie Meyer

An awesome story! Another amazing novel by Stephenie Meyer.

Rating: 5 Stars
This is a graphic novel based on the popular computer game World of Warcraft. It's a really good quick read.

Don't Look Behind You by Lois Duncan
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is good! Its moral is that you have to be thankful for your life, because when you have to leave it it's not so pleasing!

Sophia
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was great! It was the best ending possible for this unreal story.

Haley
Looking For Alaska by John Green
Rating: 5 Stars
Lyrical, evocative, and singing....this is an incredible, gut-wrenching piece of contemporary teen fiction. You'll wish Alaska was real and lived in the flesh in your own life.

Angie
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J. K. Rowling
Rating: 5 Stars
Of course, I have already read this many times. But I just have to laud again, to any Harry Potter fan, the marvelousness of seeing more dimensions of the wizarding world: the Ministry of Magic, Number 12 Grimmauld Place, and so much more.

Effie
Untamed (House of Night, Book 4) by P.C .Cast and Kristin Cast
Rating: 4 Stars
This book starts out slow but gradually turns into an awesome read. I wouldn't say it's my favorite book in the whole series but it's exciting on its own.

Unbelievable: Pretty Little Liars #4 by Sara Shepard
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was flat out amazing! I read it in two days cover to cover! If you like mysteries and adventure this is the book for you! It tells about the four girls from the last three books and the letters from A are being more predictable and all their lives are in danger. Just when one of them knows who killed their best friend Ali it may be too late...

Carly
Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is a Nutmeg Awards 2009 nominee. I think that out of the four I've read, it's the best. In this book, when you die, you go to Elsewhere. I love the characters and the weird and surreal life of the 'dead' people in Elsewhere.

IndyaK.
Vampire Academy: Vampire Academy, Book 1 by Richelle Mead
Rating: 2 Stars
This book isn't as good as thought it would be. I actually liked TWILIGHT a whole lot better.

Sarah
Cinnamon: Shooting Stars, Book 1 by V.C. Andrews
Rating: 5 Stars
I am currently reading the first book of V.C. Andrews' series Shooting Stars, called CINNAMON. It has been a wonderful book so far and I cannot put it down; I stay up very late reading it sometimes, and it is the only book I'm reading.

Morgan

Chioma
Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale by Holly Black
Rating: 4 Stars
Most parts of the book were interesting and mystical, but there are few boring parts here and there. Overall it was okay!

Amanda
Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 5 Stars
This book really makes you think and that's my favorite part about it. It puts questions in your mind like is there really a God? Does someone really deserve to die, even though he himself has killed two other people? Overall this book is amazing and I would give it a 10 out of 10.

Sophia
1984 by George Orwell
Rating: 3 Stars
The book was filled with the usual sci-fi elements, but besides the fact that it's a classic I didn't find anything that special about it.

Alyeska

Brisingr: Inheritance, Book 3 by Christopher Paolini
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the book I am reading right now. So far I have enjoyed it a lot. I haven't had much time to read it but I hope to finish it soon. Paolini is a great author and he gets my mind flowing. This, like the rest in the series, is a fantastic book

GirlwiththeBraids
Beyond the Shadows of Summer by Jonathan Zemsky
Rating: 5 Stars
Jonathan Zemsky did a great job in self-publishing and when he asked me to review his book, I was most eager! I have been wanting to read the new Laurie Halse Anderson ever since I saw it in Bookpage.

Hannah
Anthem of a Reluctent Prophet by Joanne Proulx
Rating: 4 Stars
ANTHEM OF A RELUCTANT POET is a great book about a sixteen year old boy who suddenly knows when someone is going to die, and how. But Luke doesn't always know who that person is; he only gets flashes of faces he sometimes recognizes. It's hard enough to be a sixteen-year-old boy in high school, but being a prophet will be Luke's biggest challenge yet.

Tirzah
The High King's Tomb (Book 3 of the Green Ride by Kristen Britain
Rating: 4 Stars
The third book in the Green Rider series is just as adventurous and quick witted as the first. if you are a fan of Tamora Pierce or Maria V. Snyder, pick up this series!

Madeleine
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book! It was funny and sarcastic, adventurous and it made you feel tons of emotions; you could understand how Percy was feeling and it made you wish you could visit Mt. Olympus yourself! I strongly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Kristen
The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent
Rating: 4 Stars
Although I didn't know very much about the Salem witch trials when I picked this up, I was still very captured by the book. It made me view history totally different than I once did. I didn't expect to like the story much at first, but I'm very glad I read it.

suveda
The Pact by Jodi Piocult
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is completely awesome. It's about this boy who loves his girlfriind so much. When she wants to die and is in pain, she asks him to be with her when she commits suicide, but, she can't shoot herself because of fear, so they both shoot her together. It's a love story in the sense of giving to the one you love even if it hurts you. The story is about how the guy is accused of killing her, and how he wins the case against him.

Sophia
Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was just as amazing as the others. It was so good, filled with drama and action. I can't wait to read the next one.

Ms. katie
The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart
Rating: 4 Stars
I enjoyed reading THE DISREPUTABLE HISTORY OF FRANKIE LANDAU-BANKS by E. Lockhart because it is a story of triumph and success in a world that doesn't always appreciate women as being successful and capable people. Well, this story proves that accusation wrong on so many levels. Hillary Clinton has probably experienced something like what this young woman has been experiencing her whole life!

Catherine
Picture Perfect by Jodi Piocult
Rating: 4 Stars
I thought this book had a lot of depth. This author truly understands human relationships and how nothing is perfect but even despite that, good things do happen.

Erin
Shadow Kiss: Vampire Academy, Book 3 by Richelle Mead
Rating: 5 Stars
The third book in the Vampire Academy series. This is the best of them all and really leaves you wanting the fourth.

Hillary K.

The Book Muncher
Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
Rating: 5 Stars
One of the most beautiful and romantic books I've ever read.

Bianca
Necropolis (The Gatekeepers) by Anthony Horowitz
Rating: 4 Stars
This was a great book. Definitely different from the other three, but it took everything to a new level! It is definitely not a read for people who get scared easily but for all who love sci-fi or something different must read!

J. Vincent
Independence Hall: I, Q by Roland Smith
Rating: 5 Stars
Roland Smith's newest novel, I, Q, is the first in the Independence Hall series. Blaze and Roger are a newly married couple that is about to begin their first tour across the US. They bring along with them their two children, Angela (Roger's daughter) and Q (which stands for Quest; he is Blaze's son). They are accompanied by an 'ancient' roadie who mysteriously showed up out of nowhere but claims to be from their parents' past. Along the trip, Q discovers that his stepsister's real mom was a Secret Service Agent who supposedly died in a terrorist attack. When they arrive in Philadelphia, Angela finds out an assassin is following her from the Israeli Mossad (Equivalent to the CIA or MI6). Surprising twists are around every corner throughout the novel. This book was so good, I read it in one day, and I recommend this book to anyone who likes action, suspense, and plot twists. Roland Smith has made yet another page-turner for teen readers.

PJ
Black Water: Pendragon, Book 5 by D.J. MacHale
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is great. It is my favorite book. The reason I give the book four stars instead of five is because the cliffhanger was so good it upset me. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys wondering what will happen next. If you don't want to read a great book, this is not the one for you.

Stephanie
Two-Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt
Rating: 3 Stars
I thought this was a fun book for both young boys and girls. It deals with the ups and downs that come along with being young and in love from both the boy's point of view and the girl's idea of a 'healthy' relationship.
